Learn more about Ikon here. About the roleAs the Admissions Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient student enrolment processes and building relationships with prospective students, course advisers, and international agents, this is a front-of-house position.This position requires someone with good communication and organization skills as you will be processing applications submitted by the course advisers, communicating with agents, and ensuring essential admissions and student service activities are carried out.The Admissions Officer is responsible for supporting the reception area and providing expert advice, guidance, and support to students and teachers regarding the Institute, service, products, and procedures. About youYou have an experience in a multicultural environment, a sound knowledge of equal opportunity, equity, and workplace health and safety principles, and the ability to implement them at an operational level. You have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and can establish collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You have demonstrable and high-level process and people management skills. Key ResponsibilitiesProviding expert advice, guidance, and support to students, staff, and visitors regarding Ikon, services, and procedures, both face to face and via phone and emailProcess student enrolments and ensure all suitable documentation is collected for each student. Assessing applicant’s GTE in accordance with DHA’s requirementsIdentify document frauds (Academic and Financial documents) upon processing applicationsProcess Confirmations of Enrolment (CoEs) and reports in Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS) in compliance with DHA requirementsProcess tuition fees and other payments from students including OSHCMaintain Student database accurate recording/logging of student issues and diary notes. Process student inquiries regarding change of enrolment, course withdrawals, recognition of prior learning, enrolment documentation, special considerations, etc. in both Student Management System (SMS) and PRISMS.Ensure student and agent information (website and other documents) are identified and accurately updatedAttends and contributes to regular team meetings Education, Experience, and SkillsAtleast 2 year's experience in a similar role, in the education industryExperience in international admissionsCompletion of Year 12Demonstrated coordination skills, either in customer service and/or education environmentUnderstanding of academic services, having worked in an education environmentDemonstrable organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise to ensure successful completion of all responsibilities and tasksHighly developed interpersonal skillsExcellent numeracy, oral and written communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively and to lead by exampleDemonstrated commitment to quality assuranceInnovative thinking and proactive work habits with a demonstrated eye for detailIT literacy particularly the Microsoft Office environment Why work with Ikon?
